by Manos D. Souvaltzis

The Emperor Marcus Ulpius Nerva Traianus (98-117 A.D.) was the most admirable figure in the ancient Roman World!

He was adopted by Marcus Cocceius Nerva who was chosen as a stopgap Emperor, after the assassination of Emperor Domitian, because of his virtue and deep knowledge of the Law.
